Andy's Selection Box
“My perfect selection would be Ice Cider and 5 year old Somerset Cider Brandy for making the perfect pre dinner Ginger Donkey cocktail. Or alternatively the Ice Cider on it’s own as an aperitif. A Stoke Red bottle fermented as the perfect accompaniment for a meal and then my personal favourite is the Somerset Pomona. The Pomona which goes hand in hand with a Somerset Cheese board and Tracklements apple and Somerset Cider Brandy chutney. To top it all off is a glass of Shipwreck Somerset Cider Brandy in front of the fire.”

“We make this succulent chutney with Kentish bramley apples and a liberal measure of Somerset cider brandy for a boozy kick. Indecently good with roast pork, mature cheeses and pies.” - Tracklements
“Then a glass of the ice cider, the one that makes the group coo and gasp. Apple juice freezes in barrels in the orchard. Remove the ice and only the most intensely concentrated, sugared juice remains. Fermented to 11.5% it is as luscious and dazzling as any dessert wine.” - Adam Wells, Cider Review
“I’d drink it rather than Champagne any day of the week” - Joanna Lumley
