Over the past few years, we've been collaborating with industry experts to strengthen our sustainability credentials. A recently commissioned report ranks our Somerset Cider Brandy as the UK’s most sustainable aged spirit. Our farm exceeds net zero, with all of our organically grown fruit being harvested, fermented, distilled, aged, and bottled on-site. The report also emphasizes the importance of our low-intensity orchards, which are recognized as one of the UK’s priority habitats, vital for preserving biodiversity.
We believe our environmental ethos and high production standards are reflected in the quality of our drinks. As advocates for slow food production, we are committed to leading the way toward a carbon-negative future in UK food and drink.
Burrow Hill Cider and The Somerset Cider Brandy Company’s vision is long term sustainable and small. We are constantly seeking new ways to further decarbonize our operations. Watch this space for more innovation.
